About the event
Experience the timeless craft of working with clay in Spin & Shape: Intro to Pottery. This hands-on workshop introduces the fundamentals of pottery in a supportive, beginner-friendly environment.
Guided by a local ceramic artist, you’ll learn essential techniques such as centering clay, basic wheel or hand-building methods (depending on setup), and shaping your first piece. Throughout the session, you’ll receive personalized guidance and plenty of time to experiment and enjoy the creative process.
Whether you’ve always wanted to try pottery or you’re simply looking for a fun, tactile experience, this workshop is all about learning by doing and connecting with others in your community.
Pieces will be fired and available for pickup at a later date (timeline provided at the workshop). All materials are included—just bring clothes you don’t mind getting a little clay on and a willingness to get your hands dirty.
