Use of Our Services

Local Roots Learning provides hands-on workshops, classes, and community-based learning experiences. By using our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when registering

  • Participate respectfully and safely in all experiences

  • Follow any instructions provided by instructors or hosts

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who violates these terms or disrupts the experience.

Registration & Payment

  • All registrations must be completed through our approved booking platform

  • Payment is required to secure your spot

  • Prices and availability are subject to change

Your registration is confirmed only after payment is successfully processed.

Cancellations & Refunds

Please refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy for full details.

By booking a workshop, you agree to the terms outlined in that policy.

Assumption of Risk

Participation in hands-on workshops may involve certain risks, including but not limited to:

  • Use of tools, equipment, or materials

  • Physical activity (e.g., crafting, cooking, movement)

By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with the activity.

Liability Waiver

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Local Roots Learning and its partners, instructors, and venues are not liable for:

  • Injuries, accidents, or damages occurring during or after participation

  • Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings

Participants are responsible for their own safety and well-being.

Third-Party Venues & Instructors

Our workshops are often hosted at partner locations and led by independent instructors.

  • We are not responsible for the operations of third-party venues

  • Instructors may have their own guidelines or safety protocols

Photo & Media Release

By attending a workshop, you grant Local Roots Learning permission to:

  • Capture photos and videos during events

  • Use this content for marketing, social media, and promotional purposes

If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify us in advance.

Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how your information is collected and used.

Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, branding, and materials, is the property of Local Roots Learning and may not be used or reproduced without permission.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict of law principles.
