At Local Roots Learning, we strive to create meaningful, high-quality experiences for every participant. Because our workshops require advance planning, materials, and coordination with local instructors and partners, we’ve outlined the following policy.
Our Commitment
We understand that plans can change. While we do our best to be flexible, this policy helps ensure we can fairly compensate our instructors, support local partners, and continue offering high-quality experiences.
If you have extenuating circumstances, please reach out—we’re always happy to try to find a solution.
Cancellations & Refunds
More than 7 days before the event

Full refund or credit toward a future workshop
3–7 days before the event

50% refund or full credit toward a future workshop
Less than 72 hours before the event

Credit may be issued at our discretion
Transfers
Can’t make it? No problem.

You may transfer your ticket to a friend at no cost

No-Shows

No refunds or credits will be issued for no-shows
Event Cancellations (by Local Roots Learning)
If we need to cancel or reschedule a workshop due to low enrollment, instructor availability, or unforeseen circumstances:

You will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another class
Minimum Enrollment
Workshops require a minimum number of participants. If minimum enrollment is not met, we may cancel or reschedule the event. You will be notified at least 24–48 hours in advance whenever possible.
